Hello friend!
Oh, how I have spent these last few months missing seeing you!
Suffice it to say that I take back everything negative I’ve ever said about 2019! Wow. 2020. What a year this has been, amiright? It has been quite some time since we’ve had the opportunity to connect.
We’ve all had a few months of sheltering in place under our belts and we’re venturing back out into the world with new eyes. Navigating this “new normal”
How have you been?
I’m sure that these last few months have been different for everyone. In my house, for example, we’ve got a distance learner, a “nonessential” worker and two essential workers, one of whom has been able to work from home, and the other has left home to work at his place of business throughout these last few months.
I don’t know about you but I have been through the gamut of emotions. Oh, the feels! Sadness, confusion, fear, frustration, anger, depression, gratitude, and joy to name a few. Thankful to be able to have the opportunity to write this. Mourning for the way things used to be. How about you?
I have tried to keep myself busy. Going for daily walks with my adventure buddy, my super puppy, Koda Bear. Getting some much-needed vitamin D. Tending to my plants, my succulents, and cacti, that bring me so much joy. Hiking. Stand up paddleboarding. Cooking. Baking. Cleaning. Soooo much cleaning. Like down to my baseboards, friend. Reading. Netflix. I even did a 500 piece puzzle, succulent themed, of course. Moving offices. Organizing. Preparing for my reopening.
What have you been up to?
I cannot wait to see you and I look forward the day I can, perhaps at my aforementioned new office, for some much needed and long overdue self care!
Take care of you!
Dana
